Tom Davies is a British spectacle designer who has revolutionized the eyewear industry by introducing bespoke, handmade frames tailored to an individual's face, coloring, physical characteristics, and lifestyle. The company provides luxurious, custom-made glasses as the defining feature of one's appearance. Based in West London, Tom Davies' "Made in England" factory, established in 2017, has the capacity to produce 10,000 frames per month, ensuring craftsmanship and quality at scale.

In 2020 Tom Davies launched two new brands, Morgan Davies MD1888 and Catch London, that are currently conquering the worldwide optical markets.

Eyewear designed by Tom Davies has recently also been seen in famous Hollywood movies such as on Angelina Jolie in Maria or Winona Ryder in Beetlejuice Beetlejuice.

Role Description

This is a full-time, remote role for a Sales Manager in France specializing in the Optical Industry and Premium Eyewear. The Sales Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities, managing sales activities, and achieving sales targets. Other day-to-day tasks include developing sales strategies, conducting market analysis, and representing the brand at industry events and trade shows. While you will travel and develop in a certain area yourself to visit customers and aquire new business, you will also be responsible to recruit, train and manage a French sales team which should cover the entire country.

Qualifications

  • Experience in sales and sales management, specifically in the optical industry and premium eyewear
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing sales strategies
  • Strong relationship-building and client management skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to conduct market analysis and identify new business opportunities
  • Self-motivated and capable of working remotely with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency in both French and English
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
  • Knowledge of the luxury and fashion industry is a plus
