Sales Manager – France – Heavy Plant & Earthmoving Machinery

We are exclusively working with LiuGong Europe, who are growing rapidly, and we’re looking for a passionate and experienced Sales Manager to promote the sales of LiuGong Earthmoving Machinery throughout France. This position plays a critical role in driving growth across their earthmoving portfolio in the France region.

Role : Sales Manager

Area : Lyon, with travel throughout France

Salary : €58,000–€75,000 per year + bonus + benefits

The requirements for the Sales Manager will be :

  • Developing and maintaining prospective customer accounts within your territory.
  • Regularly visiting customers in the designated region to identify new machine sales opportunities.
  • Supporting the Head of Sales in driving sales growth in the assigned area.
  • Building strong working relationships with customers to secure future business and ensure repeat sales.
  • Staying updated on local market trends, industry standards, and competitor activity to maintain a competitive edge.

The ideal candidate for Sales Manager will have :

  • A proven track record in sales, preferably within the construction equipment or heavy machinery industry.
  • Experience developing and executing sales strategies to meet or exceed targets.
  • Strong understanding of the construction equipment market, including trends, customer needs, and competitor activity.
  • Experience in identifying sales opportunities, managing customer accounts, and securing long-term business partnerships.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage customer calls, sales pipeline, and follow-up actions efficiently.
