The Sales Manager will be responsible for selling our products and services within Italy to achieve annual sales objectives. Following the European commercial strategy, you will develop our client portfolio by maintaining and growing existing accounts and prospecting for new clients.

In this role, you will:

  1. Maintain and develop existing client accounts by building strong relationships and increasing sales through field prospecting.
  2. Advise and guide clients after conducting thorough needs analyses.
  3. Validate client requests and prepare and send quotations.
  4. Present technical offers to clients and successfully close sales.
  5. Follow up on all actions, including quote follow-ups, client interfaces, and visit reports.
  6. Promote the company's products and services leading to firm orders.
  7. Monitor projects in collaboration with the Project Manager to ensure client satisfaction.
  8. Identify and develop new client accounts by prospecting potential new clients.
  9. Collaborate with the Commercial Director and marketing department to guide and support marketing strategies in Italy, including trade shows and communications.
  10. Manage and represent the company at professional trade shows in Italy.
  11. Implement the European commercial strategy within your territory by increasing turnover and contributing to our continuous growth.
  12. Analyze revenue variations globally, by client, and by technology.
  13. Participate in European commercial department meetings.
  14. Analyze the Italian market and share insights with the Commercial Director to influence commercial and marketing actions.

You might be a good fit if you have:

  1. Minimum of 3 years of technical-commercial B2B experience in prototyping or plastic/metal parts manufacturing.
  2. A commercial education equivalent to at least a BAC+2 and/or technical training in plastics or metallurgy.
  3. English level B2 / C1.
  4. Experience in developing key account portfolios and acquiring new clients.
  5. Strong technical understanding of client needs.
  6. Excellent commercial negotiation skills.
  7. In-depth knowledge of on-demand manufacturing technologies, products, and services.
  8. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  9. Customer service-oriented mindset with precision and responsiveness.
  10. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  11. Willingness to travel regularly nationally and occasionally internationally.
