Position Overview:

Our client is seeking a Sales Manager – Formulation Thermoplastics & Thermosets – Northern France.

Ideal candidate profile: dynamic, customer-oriented with solid technical and commercial experience in raw materials for thermoplastic and thermosetting polymers formulation.

Your responsibilities include managing an existing client portfolio and exploring new markets and clients.

This position reports to the Commercial Manager of the Advanced Materials Business Unit.

Responsibilities:

Business Development

• Manage and develop a client portfolio in northern France
• Prospect and identify new industrial opportunities
• Analyze client needs and propose tailored technical solutions

Technical Expertise & Supplier Relations

• Promote and advise on raw material ranges for formulation
• Provide technical support to optimize client formulations
• Collaborate with suppliers and report market opportunities

Performance Monitoring & Strategy

• Monitor performance indicators and analyze sales data
• Implement commercial actions aligned with market needs
• Work collaboratively with the team

Qualifications & Experience:

• Higher technical education (Bac+2 to Bac+5), ideally in plastics, materials chemistry, or formulation
• 5 to 10 years of experience in chemical or plastics sales
• Knowledge of thermoplastics and/or thermosets preferred
• Strong commercial skills, autonomy, rigor, and team spirit
• Proficiency in Office, CRM, ERP tools
• Fluent English (for international supplier communication)
• Frequent travel in France (~50%)
