We are hiring for our client, a leading manufacturer and supplier of advanced composite materials.

Position: Sales Manager – EMEA – Pre Preg (Carbon & Glass) – Composites. You will collaborate closely with manufacturing sites to deliver comprehensive solutions to targeted industrial sectors.

Location: Remote working, based in Germany, France, Italy, or Spain.

The focus will be on developing the Prepreg business in targeted markets where solution implementation is needed, aiming to expand the market-leading range of composite prepreg materials across Europe.

The successful candidate must quickly understand the full portfolio and develop strategic routes to market for the prepreg range.

Main Missions and Responsibilities
  1. Manage and develop existing accounts to surpass customer expectations in service and support, optimize sales potential, and control debt.
  2. Lead negotiations and development efforts to close prospective sales promptly, maximizing business potential and revenue.
  3. Manage distribution networks.
  4. Identify and onboard new customers in Marine & Industrial markets.
  5. Communicate relevant opportunities to the Head of Sales EMEA, detailing customer and material-specific information.
  6. Develop and execute business development plans for each customer to ensure timely sales process progression.
  7. Forecast demand and evaluate growth potential, formulating and achieving annual sales targets for the region.
  8. Gather market intelligence regarding customer needs, competitor activities, and market trends to guide resource allocation profitably.
  9. Coordinate with Business Development teams to secure and transition accounts seamlessly between regional managers.
Qualification Requirements
  1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Materials Sciences, Composites, or related fields, or equivalent professional experience with ongoing development.
  2. 5-7 years of B2B sales experience, ideally within the composite materials industry, with knowledge of Prepreg products (Carbon & Glass).
  3. Strong negotiation skills, including contracts and pricing management with major clients.
  4. Results-oriented, proactive, rigorous, and decisive.
  5. Ability to build strong relationships with both commercial and technical stakeholders at all levels.
  6. Excellent team coordination skills.
  7. Fluent in English; additional European languages are advantageous.
  8. Willingness to travel across the EU.
