Job Title: Sales Manager - Automotive Sector

Our client is a global semiconductor manufacturer seeking a Sales Manager to oversee automotive customers managed by their Paris office.

Responsibilities:

  1. Drive design-in activities for on-site development departments and facilitate product releases.
  2. Maintain and expand business with existing automotive clients by securing new design-ins.
  3. Manage sales budgets, fulfill sales targets, and achieve design-in objectives.
  4. Identify and develop new business opportunities within the automotive market.
  5. Support customers during design-in processes with assistance from product managers and field application engineers.
  6. Gather and communicate customer requirements to marketing and product teams.
  7. Contribute to defining new products and enhancements to ensure ongoing growth.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Diplôme d’Ingénieur or Master 2 in electrical engineering or an equivalent technical degree.
  • Good understanding of electronic components and basic electronic circuit knowledge.
  • Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
  • Experience in the automotive market and technical sales of semiconductors or hardware development is advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel 20-30% of the time for customer visits.
  • The role is primarily office-based with options for partial remote work.
