Sales Manager API

Are you a seasoned Sales professional with experience in the API industry looking for their next challenge? We are offering the opportunity to join the Commercial Operations team as a Sales Manager API on a permanent contract in our Paris head office.

Reporting to the Head of Central, Southern & Eastern Europe, you will promote, increase, optimize sales and margin of EUROAPI catalog portfolio, implement and enrich Region Sales strategy.

Main responsibilities :

Commercial :

1. Reach objectives fixed in terms of budget / turnover / margin,
2. Set annual sales budget and a 3 to 5-year plan,
3. Implement commercial strategy and pricing policy,
4. Negotiate appropriate commercial conditions,
5. Negotiate contracts,
6. Monitor sales & margin performance and report according to defined tools,
7. Work closely with Marketing to identify new opportunities,
8. Coordinate with strategy and marketing to drive initiatives that increase market share and / or profitability,
9. Coordinate customer projects from sampling to approval and commercialization,
10. Manage customer relationships for all requests (supply, QA, RA, others),
11. Manage and coordinate operational activities: forecasts, Purchase orders in due time,
12. Manage and coordinate efficiently interfaces with QA / RA organization,
13. Plan and follow up commercial visits.

Market Knowledge :

1. Follow up customers’ market to anticipate changes,
2. Collect, understand, analyze market information with support of Marketing,
3. Contribute to market anticipation.

Our Requirements :

1. Business oriented education + diploma into pharmacy or chemistry, biochemistry, Health,
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in the API sales field,
3. Fluency in both English and French is mandatory,
4. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills,
5. Networking capability,
6. Customer oriented and excellent customer service experience,
7. Excellent organizational and time management skills,
8. Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment,
9. High achieving, ambitious, and results oriented.
