Responsibilities:
- Identify business opportunities within the Territory for the Refinery market and conclude direct sales of Alfa Laval High Efficiency Heat Exchangers (Packinox, Compabloc, Spiral, Olmi S&T Heat Exchanger) in accordance with the assigned targets of Business Unit WHE.
- Develop and execute a sales strategy and a sales plan.
- Report to BU WHE Refinery & Renewable Fuels (R&RF) Sales Team in BU WHE.
- Follow established sales processes and guidelines to promote and sell Alfa Laval High Efficiency Heat Exchangers within the territory for the Refinery market.
- Analyze and understand market insights and customer buying behavior, making sales plans according to the BU WHE strategy and targets.
- Manage leads from the market and customers, converting them into real business opportunities to ensure the pipeline.
- Be active in the market, focusing on visits, meetings, and interactions with customers, understanding their needs, and highlighting the value of our products.
- Build and maintain a sufficient network with customers.
- Collaborate with the R&RF Sales Team in BU WHE, including training, monthly meetings, and quarterly business reviews.
- Work with local and central Service Teams to follow the status of our Installed Base and secure Customer Satisfaction.
- Prepare high-quality quotes that address customer needs and develop a value proposition with unique selling points that differentiate our offering from the competition.
- Negotiate several M orders and minimize risk for Alfa Laval.
- Utilize the CRM tool and other tools consistently and qualitatively to support the sales process and decision-making.
Territory: Germany, Austria, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Greece
Who are you?
We're looking for someone who is motivated and passionate about business development, with a strong ability to build networks while working internationally with people at all levels and from all cultures. You are goal-oriented and have a creative, open-minded approach to problem-solving.
With a mechanical or chemical engineering background, you ideally have a minimum of 7 years of sales experience in the process industry. Experience in refinery and/or petrochemistry is a plus. You also have a good knowledge of welded plate heat exchangers.
Your English is fluent (spoken and written). You are a good communicator, full of dynamism and energy. You are customer-oriented and work easily across borders, understanding different cultures.
