We’re looking for a Sales Manager to join our team in Rungis, France

In this position, you will play a key role in our B2B sales operations by supporting the Westfalia Fruit sales team working in close collaboration with our sales, import and production departments, helping to develop strong relationships with our customers. Your mission is to help us achieve our sales and business development objectives with our customers, suppliers and service providers.

Collaborating with various internal departments such as procurement, finance, warehouse and logistics will contribute to our success, while gaining valuable knowledge of retail operations and contribute to the achievement of our common goals.

Essential

  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets within a high-pressure environment
  • Strong rapport building skills
  • Demonstrable initiative-taking and innovative problem-solving abilities
  • Skilled negotiator with commercial and financial acumen
  • Fluency in French

Desirable

  • Strong sales experience within fruit & vegtetable knowledge would be advantageous
  • Prior experience negotiating and closing contracts with national retailers
  • Additional European languages would be advantageous: English, Spanish, German

*Introductory conversations for this role will take place in English. Follow up conversations will be in French.
