Description du poste

The Sales Department at Khiri Travel Indonesia is a hive of creative and commercial activity. Our clients are specialist tour operators from around the world. They trust us with creating cutting-edge itineraries, with a personal touch. In coordination with and under the supervision of the Head of Sales (HoS), the Sales Manager handles requests coming from key accounts and supports the Tailor-Made sales team in preparing value-added proposals that exceed expectations.

Reporting to: General Manager, Khiri Travel Indonesia

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Enthusiastically adopt the Company’s Mission, Purpose and Core Values.
  2. Work closely with the Head of Sales to identify problems, providing proactive direction to team members in their response.
  3. Design itineraries with passion and calculate costs with precision.
  4. Add value to client communications by pro-actively giving relevant advice and exceeding expectations in efficiency, punctuality, and friendliness.
  5. Screen all incoming partner communications and daily workflow assignment for the Tailor-Made team.
  6. Deliver hands-on support to Tailor-Made team members in giving timely, value-added responses.
  7. Collaborate with colleagues in other Khiri countries, particularly when it pertains to multi-country itineraries.
  8. Know our preferred suppliers and effectively communicate the virtues of including these in our proposals.
  9. Ensure proper usage of IT systems by the team and use of preferred suppliers, maximizing the use of special offers to keep our proposals competitive.
  10. Maximize agent production by keeping itineraries both cutting-edge and marketable.

Khiri Travel Indonesia is a part of Khiri Travel Group with 15 offices in eight countries in Asia. We provide destination management services to tour operators, mostly in Europe and the USA. We handle mostly individual (FIT) tours and group tours. We currently have 3 offices in Indonesia, in Lombok, Yogyakarta, and Bali. We are looking for a hands-on, travel-loving colleague to join us. The right candidate has attention to detail, is creative, and proactive by nature.
