As Sales Manager, you will lead the development and execution of the commercial strategy to strengthen the brand’s positioning and drive market share growth in France.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Development & Execution
- Define and implement the commercial strategy in alignment with the company’s business objectives.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of commercial initiatives.
- Identify new growth opportunities and optimize market coverage.
- Ensure that the commercial strategy aligns with the brand’s values and positioning.
Key Account & Distribution Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic clients across various channels (retail, e-commerce, selective perfumeries, department stores, pharmacies, spas, and institutes).
- Negotiate and manage commercial cooperation agreements with partners, ensuring proper execution of online and offline activations within set deadlines.
- Maximize brand visibility and profitability across different retail networks.
- Monitor Sell-In and Sell-Out performance and implement corrective action plans as needed.
- Actively prospect and open new retail doors to expand the brand’s presence in the French market.
Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Recruit, develop, and motivate a team of Beauty Advisors and Shop Manager.
- Set clear sales objectives, implement support mechanisms, and ensure targets are met.
- Foster a culture of excellence and performance in customer engagement.
- Conduct regular team meetings to track progress, provide guidance, and share best practices.
Revenue & Profitability Optimization
- Develop and manage the commercial budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
- Track and analyze sales performance to make data-driven strategic decisions.
- Implement effective promotional initiatives to drive sell through while maintaining brand equity.
Candidate Profile
Experience & Background
- 5 to 6 years of commercial management experience within the beauty and cosmetics industry is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of distribution networks in France (and other European markets is a plus).
Education
- In Business, Marketing, or Management from business school or university.
- Proven expertise in negotiation and key account management.
- Strong leadership capabilities with team management experience.
- Deep understanding of the beauty market and its commercial dynamics.
- Highly business-oriented, with a results-driven mindset.
- Analytical skills and ability to make strategic decisions based on performance insights.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop long-term commercial relationships.
- Proficiency in digital tools and e-commerce strategies.
- Fluent professional English is required.
