To help with our rapid growth, we are actively seeking individuals who want to be a part of a dedicated, hardworking team.

As a Sales Executive Project Assistant, you will work closely with the Head of Sales and Business Development for North America to execute strategic sales projects. This role requires clear communication, organization, collaboration, and a high level of independence, creativity, and strategic thinking to continuously improve the overall business strategy of Stadler US.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for maintaining the Sales Database, ensuring the pipeline data is up-to-date, accurate, and opportunities stay in accordance with the Global Sales Process (GSP).
  • Assists the Head of Sales implement short-term and long-term market strategies as identified in the strategic plan by coordinating, communicating, and aligning cross-departmentally at Stadler. Pro-actively recognizes and executes improvement opportunities and additions to the strategic plan.
  • Prepares content and attends the weekly and monthly sales meetings, proposal team meetings, and other customer-facing meetings as determined by the Head of Sales. Assigns resulting action items or responsibilities to project team members as applicable.
  • Tracks, qualifies, and funnels leads to the appropriate sales director. Communicates and follows-up with customers in the lead stage by answering potential customers' questions and sending additional information via email.
  • Keeps up with Stadler product and service information and updates and can explain to customers in email. Stays informed about competing products and services.
  • Coordinates with Marketing and executives to ensure STAUS’ smooth and successful participation in conferences and events. Maintains membership database and assists with preparing and executing conference participation.
  • Coordinates with bid team to assist with bid preparation and customer communication.
  • Coordinates and executes special sales and proposal projects as directed by the Head of Sales.
  • Prepares meeting content, including PowerPoint presentations.
  • Follows along in meetings and assigns action items, including follow up.
  • Maintains the Sales Database with accurate data and analyzes pipeline.
  • Leads the inside sales function, including lead generation and management.
  • Coordinates with the bid team to ensure timely response to prospective customers and proposal submission.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or project management is preferred.
  • 1-2 years of prior work experience
