Job summary

Flowserve Corporation is seeking a Sales Engineer in France to develop and maintain relationships with key customers and trade partners. You will analyze purchase agreements, understand market trends, and coordinate selling efforts with internal and external channel partners to drive bookings and customer value.

You will lead meetings, demonstrate products, and collaborate with engineering, service and manufacturing teams to ensure customer needs are met.

Qualifications

BS or BA degree in a relevant field is required.
Experience with rotating equipment, such as valves, is preferred.
Familiarity with API 610 standard is beneficial.
Training in sales techniques, negotiations and business finance is a plus.

Responsibilities

Drive bookings levels to meet or exceed assigned goals.
Maintain regular communication with key customers in the region.
Develop and implement marketing plans aligned with regional sales objectives.
Serve as primary contact for business dealings, including proposals and deliveries.
Educate customers on product quality, features, and applications using marketing materials.
Collaborate with application engineers, customer service, and manufacturing to meet customer needs.
Understand design and operational requirements of valves and related equipment.
Demonstrate product demonstrations, presentations and business writing.
Proficient in MS Office; maintain records and reports.
Possibly relocate or travel within assigned territory; other duties as assigned.
