Qualifications

  • Provide support to the field sales team and manage customer requests.

Position

A major player in the Refrigeration and HVAC sector, our French subsidiary is currently looking for an Inside Sales Engineer to support its growth and strengthen its brand awareness in its target markets.

The Inside Sales Engineer provides support to the field sales team (external sales engineers).

They play an active role in the company’s commercial activity by managing day-to-day requests from customers and prospects.

They advise and provide documentation to customers in their search for products and solutions, handle product sizing and selection, and prepare price quotations.

They keep the external sales engineer informed of all requests within their territory.

They are responsible for maintaining a high standard of customer relations by ensuring regular contact and quality service throughout the project follow-up.

Requirements

As a key contact for refrigeration and HVAC professionals (Distributors, System Integrators, Refrigeration Technicians, Commercial Kitchen Specialists, HVAC Installers, etc.), you ensure their satisfaction by supporting them throughout the sales process.

  • Draft simple price quotations, product equivalents, or spare parts offers.
  • Select and size equipment and services offered by CAREL.
  • Inform and document customers about new products, services, and solutions.
  • Respond to tenders and inquiries by preparing accurate cost estimations and commercial offers for clients, partners, and prospects according to defined business models.
  • Ensure proper communication and customer relationship tracking through reports requested by management and effective use of CRM tools.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Strong customer relationship skills
  • Knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems
  • Familiarity with BMS systems, supervision / hypervision platforms
  • Understanding of refrigeration production principles
  • Knowledge of communication protocols and network systems

SOFT SKILLS & GENERAL COMPETENCIES

  • English proficiency (A2 / B1 level) and / or Italian is a plus
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Adaptability to regulatory changes
  • Proactive and solution-oriented mindset
  • Skilled in using digital tools and IT systems
  • Use communication tools in accordance with Group guidelines
  • Contribute to the company’s cybersecurity by recognizing and protecting sensitive data
