Description du poste

As the Director of Solution Engineering , you will be at the forefront of Mirakl's growth strategy, leading a team of solution engineers to partner with our sales teams in driving new customers and expanding our footprint within our existing client base. Your mission will be to inspire, coach, and lead the Solution Engineering team to deliver impactful demonstrations, compelling value propositions, and innovative solutions that align with our customers' needs.

This role requires a strong blend of leadership, technical expertise, and customer-facing experience, along with a deep understanding of SaaS platforms and IT landscape.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Build, mentor, and lead a world-class Solution Engineering team that supports Mirakl’s growth objectives.
  • Drive engagement and performance through regular coaching, training, and career development opportunities.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and customer-centricity across the team.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and deliver tailored demonstrations and workshops.
  • Serve as an executive sponsor for key customer engagements, ensuring alignment with their strategic objectives.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, addressing their business challenges with Mirakl’s marketplace solutions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Ensure seamless handovers between solution engineer, implementation, and post-sales teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Partner with the Product Development, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to align on product roadmap, customer feedback, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to support events, webinars, and other demand-generation initiatives.

Operational Excellence

  • Develop and execute strategies to scale the Solution Engineering function as Mirakl continues to grow globally particularly through AI.
  • Track and analyze key performance metrics to continuously improve the team’s effectiveness and impact. Ensure CRM accuracy.
  • Leverage industry trends and competitive intelligence to refine messaging and positioning in the marketplace ecosystem.

Qualifications :

  • 10+ years of experience in Solution Engineering, Pre-Sales, or Technical Sales roles within a SaaS or enterprise software company.
  • 5+ years in a leadership role, managing and scaling high-performing technical teams.
  • Deep understanding of SaaS platforms, enterprise architecture, and digital transformation. Experience with marketplaces, e-commerce, or platform solutions is a strong plus.
  • Proven track record of exceeding revenue goals.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills with the ability to inspire and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. An MBA or equivalent experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce), collaboration tools, and technical demonstration platforms.
