A leading consultancy firm is seeking a Sales Director for West Europe and the EU to manage and negotiate contracts with multinational supermarket chains. This role involves building a distribution network, achieving sales targets, and leading a sales team across various European markets. Candidates should have experience in the modern trade and FMCG sectors, with proven expertise in stakeholder management and contract negotiations. Competitive package offered, including commission.
Title: Sales Director (West Europe and EU)
• Type of Contract: Independent
• Duration: 6 months renewable (project over three year)
• Customer: Our customer is a multinational conglomerate company (1B$ revenues PA). It has diversified business interests including financial services, fast-moving consumer goods, education, hospitality, energy, EPC, consumer electronics, realty, biotech and Ayurveda. The group runs 136 companies under 15 different business verticals across all five continents.
• Availability: In one month
• Monthly package: 4500 - 5000 Euros Net + Commission
The candidate must have experience and expertise dealing and finalizing contract with the large multinational supermarket chains in Europe. Should have adequate knowledge of the trade of the supermarket chains (modern trade) in these markets. The candidate must possess necessary skills and relationships with key stakeholders to finalise contract with the supermarket chains in shortest possible time frame. Previous experience working with large distributors, importers who are distribution FMCG/Food products in the Modern trade and supermarket chains.
Once the market is opened for each of the countries, the candidate should lead a team of sales persons assigned to each market or markets.
