As Sales Director – New Business, you will lead and develop a high-performing sales organization focused on accelerating revenue growth, acquiring new customers, and strengthening long-term client relationships. You will establish sales strategies, drive execution against ambitious targets, and build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Working closely with executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams, you will communicate compelling business value propositions and help customers understand the impact of innovative software solutions. You will oversee sales performance, pipeline development, forecasting, and deal execution while identifying opportunities to expand market presence and increase customer retention. This leadership role combines strategic planning with hands‑on sales management in a dynamic, performance-driven technology environment. It offers an opportunity to influence business growth, empower talented sales professionals, and contribute to the success of a globally recognized enterprise software provider.

Accountabilities
  • Sales strategy and revenue growth: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies that enable the team to exceed revenue targets, expand market share, and achieve sustainable year-over-year growth.
  • Team leadership and development: Lead, motivate, and develop Account Executives and Client Account Managers, fostering a high-performance culture focused on new business acquisition, customer satisfaction, and revenue achievement.
  • Sales performance management: Conduct weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasting meetings and business reviews, monitor sales activity, evaluate performance against targets, and implement corrective actions when needed.
  • Pipeline and deal management: Maintain a strong sales pipeline, drive consistent deal closure across monthly and quarterly cycles, and ensure accurate forecasting and effective opportunity management.
  • New customer acquisition: Establish clear annual plans and sales priorities focused on identifying new prospects, converting opportunities, and developing strategic customer relationships.
  • Strategic account planning: Develop and execute account strategies that support revenue growth, strengthen customer loyalty, and maximize opportunities for expansion and retention.
  • Executive engagement: Leverage internal and external executive relationships to build compelling business cases, communicate strategic value, and align solutions with customers' business objectives.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Partner closely with Sales Engineering, Professional Services, and Partner Alliances to deliver cohesive customer experiences and improve sales effectiveness.
  • Consultative selling and value creation: Guide the sales team in articulating business benefits, demonstrating return on investment, and positioning multiple software offerings to address complex customer needs.
  • Operational excellence: Use CRM platforms and sales performance data to track progress, improve sales processes, identify risks, and maintain accountability across the organization.
  • Continuous improvement: Identify opportunities to strengthen sales execution, optimize team performance, and support a culture of collaboration, resilience, and customer-focused growth.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in sales management, with a proven track record of building, motivating, and leading Account Executives and Client Account Managers to achieve revenue growth targets.
  • Demonstrated success in consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas, managing complex sales cycles, and driving monthly and quarterly deal closures.
  • Experience developing and executing strategic sales plans for multiple software-as-a-service (SaaS) offerings, ideally within the enterprise software industry.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, including the ability to coach sales professionals, establish clear expectations, and build a collaborative, results-oriented team.
  • Excellent strategic account planning and execution capabilities, with experience acquiring new customers, expanding existing accounts, and strengthening customer retention.
  • Strong consultative selling skills and the ability to develop persuasive business cases, communicate value propositions, and demonstrate measurable return on investment.
  • Experience managing sales forecasts, pipeline reviews, business performance reporting, and sales activity monitoring.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or other customer relationship management (CRM) platforms.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior executives, customers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage competing priorities, and deliver results within tight deadlines.
  • Resilience, flexibility, sound judgment, and a strong sense of individual accountability.
  • A collaborative, team-first mindset combined with the initiative and resourcefulness needed to lead independently.
