At Malt we believe that Ambition is the Way, so all lists of missions and responsibilities are non-exhaustive.
The Mission
- The Situation: Malt is strengthening its leadership in the European freelance economy by restructuring the Go-To-Market organization around targeted segments. The Enterprise DACH segment is a key frontier. We rely on outbound activity to drive growth.
- The Task: You will lead outbound strategy for our global Enterprise acquisition in a European-wide team. You will partner with Enterprise Account Executives to craft and execute outbound campaigns to win large new-logo accounts, driving top-of-funnel growth for the DACH Enterprise revenue engine.
Key Responsibilities
- Pillar 1: Surgical Outbound Architecture & Hunting
- Action: Design and execute high-volume, multi-channel outbound sequences (cold calls, personalized emails, LinkedIn) targeting 10–15 Focus Accounts per quarter.
- Output: A localized outbound machine that engages key enterprise stakeholders.
- Metrics of Performance: Volume of outbound activities and booked meetings.
- Pillar 2: Ruthless Qualification & ROI Pitching
- Action: Conduct initial discovery using the Pain, Urgency, and Fit (PUF) framework. Deliver concise value pitches that articulate Malt\'s ROI and address top-of-funnel objections.
- Output: Highly qualified prospects ready for deeper discovery.
- Metrics of Performance: The AE Meeting Score (0 = Unqualified, 1 = Potential, 2 = Strong Potential). Your quarterly KPI is aligned to points achieved.
- Pillar 3: Squad Orchestration & Pipeline Integrity
- Action: Collaborate with dedicated AEs, ensure smooth handovers with thorough documentation, and maintain Salesforce hygiene to prevent lead leakage.
- Output: A transparent, well-maintained enterprise pipeline.
- Metrics of Performance: CRM accuracy and Lead-to-Opportunity conversion rates.
Requirements & The Skills Matrix
Proven Mastery
- Mandatory: At least 1 full year of high-activity outbound experience in SaaS/Tech Sales.
- Resilience and the ability to articulate complex value propositions in a fast-paced environment.
- Native-level fluency in German and high proficiency in English.
Skills You Will Deploy & Develop
- Enterprise Account Mapping: Master penetrating large, multi-layered corporate org charts.
- Data-Driven Outbound Sequencing: Utilize multi-channel outreach platforms and Salesforce architecture to automate and scale your approach.
- Career Scaling: Clear development path with potential to advance to Senior SDR or Account Executive.
The Self-Selection Filter
This role is perfect for you if:
- You possess a hunter mindset and enjoy cold calling and outbound prospecting.
- You take ownership of Focus Accounts and drive outcomes.
- You are motivated by clear, mathematical KPIs and a roadmap to becoming an Enterprise Closer.
This role is NOT for you if:
- You expect only inbound leads.
- You struggle with objection handling or top-of-funnel rejection.
- You prefer a routine, administrative role over a high-intensity, high-reward environment.
30-60-90 Day Impact Plan
- Day 30: Learn marketplace mechanics and the PUF framework. Align with AEs, map first Focus Accounts, and launch initial outbound sequences.
- Day 60: Fully execute multi-channel strategies, handle objections, qualify leads, and hand over AE-scored meetings.
- Day 90: Take ownership of pipeline generation. Hit target velocity to demonstrate readiness to scale.
