About the job

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at LexisNexis, you will play a critical role in driving our growth. Your main responsibility will be to generate and qualify leads, initiate relationships with prospective customers, and support our sales efforts to ensure continued business success. You will work closely with our Account Executives and Marketing teams to create a seamless pipeline and help our prospects understand the value of our product.

Main responsibilities

  1. Lead Generation: Identify and research potential clients within the legal and professional services sectors.
  2. Outreach: Execute outbound strategies through cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach to generate qualified sales leads.
  3. Qualify Prospects: Engage with decision-makers to understand their needs, qualify leads, and schedule product demos for the Account Executives.
  4. Collaboration: Work closely with Account Executives to nurture prospects through the sales pipeline and provide them with necessary information.
  5. CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in the CRM system (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) to track interactions and progress.
  6. Market Insights: Provide feedback to the marketing team on prospect responses and content effectiveness.
  7. Team Engagement: Contribute to a positive, high-energy team culture focused on achieving sales goals.

Requirements

  1. Experience: 1-2 years of experience in sales development or lead generation, preferably within SaaS or technology.
  2. Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Dutch (additional languages are a plus).
  3. Driven: Motivated by targets and goals with a proven ability to meet or exceed sales quotas.
  4. Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with using CRM tools, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
  5. Problem Solver: Ability to engage in consultative conversations and understand client pain points.
  6. Team Player: Works well in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  7. Interest in Legal Tech: A passion for innovative technologies and the legal tech industry is highly desirable.
