An established industry player is seeking a strategic Sales Operations Analyst to lead transformative projects that enhance sales practices and performance. About the role :
Integrated into the group's sales transformation team, responsible for enhancing sales practices and performance, the role's primary objective is to lead strategic sales transformation projects that contribute to Thales Group's OI and GMOI growth. Additionally, as part of the office of the SVP DGDI Europe, the role aims to ensure that DGDI Europe maintains an ambitious, accurate, and aligned sales forecast across all countries and GBUs/BLs to support its SBP and growth plans.
Key Responsibilities & Tasks :
Builds order intake and GMOI ambition and targets
Implements and coordinates sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes with the Head of Sales and Account Managers.
Leads ad hoc sales-related activities for DGDI Europe (e.g., CODIRs).
Ensures the development of ambitious account plans.
Supports various Marketing & Sales initiatives (e.g., TT30 Account Management).
Supports the Sales & Operations planning process (workload capacity).
Reporting & Performance Analysis
Provides order intake forecasts per GBU / BL (if in GBU) or per country / account (if in Destination) and performs recurring sales reporting (e.g., SER / OIR future rolling OI forecasts, OI Rally).
Measures sales efficiency through KPIs and proposes sales awards.
Operations Management
Identifies CRM platform improvements and supports dashboard development.
Enhances sales capabilities and account performance.
Supports sales talent identification and onboarding.
Data Stewardship
Ensures integrity and accuracy of sales and customer data.
About You :
Proficient in Excel and CRM tools (Microsoft Dynamics, T360, Salesforce).
Strong business analytics and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work across different job functions.
Experience in business issue identification and mitigation.
Experience
Background as Sales Operations analyst, Sales manager, Finance and controlling, Quality management, Data analyst, Marketing & Strategy analyst.
Leadership qualities such as:
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Required Experience :
Managerial experience.
