Description du poste

The mission of the Nissan Energy team is to develop a fully electric ecosystem around the battery technology from energy storage systems and industrial applications to vehicle-to-grid services.

Our goal is to be the leading innovator in sustainable energy solutions and to contribute to a greener future by giving new life to used Nissan EV batteries.


As a member of the battery team, reporting to the Nissan Energy Dpt, and working closely with Product and R&D team, you will drive the adoption of Nissan second-life and new batteries in the non-automotive market and expand current partnerships.


The candidate will be based in Montigny-le-Bretonneux, France, and will report to the Product and R&D Manager of the Energy team.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Manage sales and business development activities for non-automotive applications based on Nissan EV battery technology, new and second-life.
  • Develop a sales and marketing strategy in line with the defined Mid-term and Long-term plan
  • Develop Battery product value proposition for AMIEO region in the main following applications (but not limited to): Stationary ESS, Industrial applications
  • Oversee the market dynamics in AMIEO scope, with a strong focus in Europe, and provide valuable insights to the product team
  • Responsible to understand and drive product attractiveness, USP, positioning, pricing strategy, distribution, define the Go to market strategy
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, ensure customer satisfaction and foster long-term partnerships.
  • Report sales progress on a regular basis internally
  • Be a Sustainability Advocate:Promote the environmental and economic benefits of second-life batteries, positioning them as a viable and sustainable alternative in the targeted markets.

Background & Experience

  • Master's degree in business administration or engineering
  • 10y experience working experience in business development, preferably in battery systems, power sector or industrial applications

Skills, abilities and languages:

  • Proven track record of identifying and securing new business opportunities
  • Passion for Sustainability:Deep commitment to sustainability and a desire to make a positive impact on the environment.
  • Strong interest in circular economy and product full life cycle management
  • CAN-DO attitude, adaptable, a knack for thriving in a dynamic environment, managing shifting priorities
  • Problem-Solving Skills: ability to foresee issues, propose solutions
  • Experience in working with cross-functional teams in complex organization
  • Proficiency in English, additional languages are an upside
  • Ability to think and act strategically and strongly customer-oriented
