We are looking for a Sales Account Manager Germany, to join our Flavors Europe team.

This position is either hybrid in our office in Strasbourg, France, or home-based in Germany. Online collaboration and international travel may be required.

Responsibilities:
  1. Developing value-added ingredient sales activities to sweet and savory food industry accounts.
  2. Engaging and collaborating with key decision makers to develop and secure new sales.
  3. Implementing and managing account-specific strategies to achieve sales goals.
  4. Coordinating creative projects to benefit the customer.
  5. Visiting prospects and customers with presentations to understand their needs and link with product portfolio.
  6. Interfacing with customers’ purchasing and technical teams to solicit new business and participate in long-term projects.
  7. Developing and managing relationships with top management of major accounts.
  8. Creating and executing a territorial coverage plan.
  9. Acquiring and maintaining in-depth knowledge of assigned accounts.
  10. Ensuring high customer satisfaction.
  11. Submitting requests for samples or projects with complete information for business decisions.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education.
  2. Fluency in German (spoken and written) and English.
  3. Sales and/or technical background considered.
  4. Proven sales success preferred; junior applicants considered.
  5. Willingness to travel up to 60% with frequent overnight stays.
  6. Ability to work independently and in teams with high self-discipline.
  7. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
