Description du poste

We are growing our Sales team and seeking a Sales Account Manager with a technical background to join our team. The Sales Account Manager is responsible for driving revenue through the development and management of customer relationships within new and existing accounts. Serving as a key liaison between clients and internal teams, the individual will lead efforts in prospecting, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities. The Account Manager will also manage internal sales processes including order entry, machine and tooling specifications, and machine acceptance. This role requires strong communication skills, a self-starter mindset, and a collaborative approach to ensure customer needs are met.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES, but not limited to:

  • Service existing accounts, obtain orders, establish new accounts, and build strong customer relations to retain and grow business.
  • Handle inquiries, provide advertising materials, and produce quotations for new and existing customers while ensuring client needs are understood and addressed.
  • Coordinate matters of mutual concern with related staff such as Engineering, Manufacturing, Assembly Floor and Service.
  • Work with Tooling Department to create/maintain tooling specification sheets; work with Mechanical/Electrical Engineering to create and maintain machine specification sheets.
  • Coordinate and attend customer Factory Approval Tests and Site Approval Tests at customer locations.
  • Collaborate with various internal departments to fulfill all customer requests.
SKILLS:
  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills to help resolve customer needs.
  • Understanding of basic mechanical and electrical concepts for interpreting customer’s needs.
  • Proficient in forecasting, lead generation and closing sales.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or a minimum of four (4) years of sales experience with an engineering or technical background
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%
