SAFETY EQUIPEMENT & HOMOLOGATION ENGINEER - TRAINEE

Provide support to establish new safety standards, procedures and regulations, performing the relevant background research and literature review when necessary.

Support the development of prototypes hand-in-hand with safety equipment manufacturers.

Provide assistance to the Safety Equipment & Homologation group, for tasks including, but not limited to:

• Draft safety standards and safety regulations
• Support the assignment of new homologations
• Preparation of post-homologation tests
• Analyse homologation test reports
• Data analysis
• Preparation and attendance of meetings, either internal or external

PROFILE:

Degree in mechanical engineering or related engineering discipline.

Ability to understand international technical standards.

Software: VBA coding and MATLAB experience would be an advantage.

Language: Fluency in English and French would be an advantage.

Team player with excellent communication skills and an analytical approach.
