Une entreprise leader dans l'industrie recherche un ingénieur sécurité à Paris pour un contrat de deux ans avec possibilité de renouvellement. Le candidat idéal aura un Master en Ingénierie, une expérience significative dans le secteur pétrolier et gazière, et un solide savoir-faire en matière de conception de sécurité. Ce rôle implique l'identification des éléments critiques de sécurité, ainsi que la conception de mesures pour protéger le personnel et l'environnement dans un cadre multiculturel.

Qualifications

• Plus de cinq ans d'expérience en ingénierie de sécurité dans l'industrie pétrolière et gazière.
• Connaissance des normes de sécurité et des spécifications majeures.
• Capacité à travailler en équipe dans un environnement multiculturel.

Responsabilités

• Identifier et qualifier les événements d'accidents majeurs.
• Concevoir et mettre en œuvre des mesures de prévention et de protection.
• Réaliser des analyses de risques préliminaires.

Description du poste

We are looking for a Safety Engineer for one of our clients with the following details :

Start Date : ASAP

Contract Duration : 2 years, possibly renewable

Qualifications & Experience Required

• Master of Science Degree in Engineering, preferably Safety or Process
• Well-established knowledge of HSED engineering activities as described above : Hazardous Area Classification, Detection, Active and Passive Fire Protection, Personnel Protection, Escape Evacuation & Rescue
• Well-established knowledge of International Safety Codes & Standards (NFPA standards, API practices, IP codes, EN1473, etc.) and Major COMPANY Safety Specifications
• Well-established knowledge of Oil & Gas, and / or Energy transition facilities
• Sound judgment in technical matters with good skills in plant design optimization / modification.
• Working proficient in using common computer tools (Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, Power point, Adobe Acrobat, etc).
• Good Teamwork and inter-personal skills to assert themselves in a multicultural environment.
• Commitment, proactivity, strictness (including traceability of source, comments & modifications), autonomous (good self-organization, ability to interface inside and outside the HSED team, etc.), ability to easily communicate, ability to analyze problems and propose technical choices.
• Significant experience of more than five years in Safety engineering in oil and gas industries, petrochemistry, energy transition and / or mining.

The required technical skills are mainly the following :

• Identify and qualify Major Accident Events,
• Design and implement prevention, control, mitigation, and protection measures,

Provide safe design which ensure to protect Personnel, Environment and Assets, by carrying-out the following activities and associated deliverables :

• Preliminary risk analysis
• Plot plan reviews, and 3D model reviews
• Identification of Safety Critical Elements (SCEs) & associated Criticality rating
• Hazardous area classification, Passive fire-protection
• Cold spill protection
• Active fire-protection (firewater pumps station design, fire-fighting network and deluge systems studies, hydraulic balance calculations)
• Flammable gas, toxic gas and fire detection
• Specification and requisition for firefighting and personnel protection equipment, technical bid evaluation and vendor follow-up.
