Description du poste

Finance Analytics is the delivery area within the Data and Analytics department with the focus on the reporting and planning processes of the Amadeus Finance function.

As SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud) expert you will contribute to the maintenance and evolution of the Amadeus SAC Platform supporting the Amadeus Planning Hub (APH); with focus on CCOP (Cost Center Operational Plan), BPOP (Business Portfolio Operational Plan) and FFC (Financial Forecast).

This position is an internal customer facing role and it requires the ability to design, code, test, debug, document and maintain SAC planning and reporting processes meeting internal customer needs while keeping the processes and solutions as standard and integrated as possible.

Scope :

• Finance Analytics and Planning Services (Visualizations, Data Integration and modeling, Machine Learning...).
• Supporting globally end users in all Business Units and Corporate Functions.
• Answering to a wide range of company information needs for decision making.

Your main responsibilities :

1. Automated Solution Identification
   • Advise internal customers on business Analytics services.
   • Based on high level business requirements and considering the Analytics strategy and service portfolio in place, recommend potential solutions and provide with high level implementation sizing.
2. Solution Design
   • Collect and document the detailed business specifications with internal customers.
   • Analyze functional design / detailed business requirements and propose technical designs considering the impacts on existing processes and tools.
   • Validate the proposed solution designs with customers and solution architecture team.
   • Challenge business demands to avoid duplications or inefficiencies in the overall Analytics TCO.
3. Solution construction
   • Develop or customize end to end solutions (Data Modelling, Planning Data Actions, visualizations, security, data protection) in alignment to Amadeus guidelines.
   • Follow up and monitor the overall construction of the solution.
   • Conduct unit, non-regression and performance tests ensuring a level of quality in line with the Amadeus standards.
   • Optimize the solution based on the results of the unit, integration and performance tests.
   • Coordination and support during user acceptance tests ensuring the necessary fine-tuning to deploy the solution.
   • Produce technical documentation necessary for the solution evolution and support teams.
   • Produce user documentation and educational materials (including user communications) to facilitate user understanding and adoption.
4. Solution maintenance and support
   • Perform L3 support (customer / production).
   • Propose enhancements to avoid failure and improve performance.
   • Secure the adequate governance in a community of SAC superusers managing the Global Finance Template principles and industry best-practices (e.g. stability, performance, catalogue integrity).
   • Identify, propose and implement architecture improvements.
   • Configure data source connections and manage asset libraries.
   • Define best practices for SAC deployment and create reusable templates.
   • Participate in overall data platform architecture and strategy, transitioning from first tactical moves in small collaboration to the target Enterprise Content Distribution.
   • Research and resolve solution architecture problems based on availability, stability & performance indicators.
   • Assists, guides and supports team members in their assigned functions with focus on service delivery processes.
   • Actively participates in all agile ceremonies.
   • Contributes to increase team engagement.

About our ideal candidate

• Deep experience in SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud) with a focus on Planning functionalities.
• Experience with SAP-powered IT landscapes, especially the BI suite (backend and frontend).
• Data modeling and information classification expertise at the enterprise level.
• Understanding of common information architecture frameworks and information models, including networking and programming.
• Must speak and write fluently in English; French and / or Spanish are a plus.
• Excellent understanding of planning processes, ideally in large corporations and complex processes.
• Excellent analysis skills in the area of Business Intelligence / Analytics.
• Financial foundations for projects (business case, budget follow up, accounting principles).
• Advanced presentation and ability to summarize core messages.
• Have a deep understanding of the Analytics landscape and the roles of its components into a large company environment.
• Be able to translate the information architecture contribution to business outcomes into simple briefings for use by various data-and-analytics-related roles.
• Ability to communicate, influence and persuade peers and leadership.
• Ability to understand the long-term ("big picture") and short-term perspectives of situations.
• Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies.
• Synthesis skills in order to communicate key messages to any not-technical audience.
