Job Responsibilities
  • Project a positive and courteous manner when dealing with customers face-to-face
  • Sort, collect, and deliver mail items safely and promptly
  • Maintain knowledge of local infrastructure including roads, customers, and delivery receptacles
  • Ensure mail is securely in possession of recipients
  • Process CPC products and services (Change of Address, Damaged Mail, IDB, etc.)
  • Wear Canada Post identification visibly during deliveries
  • Lift and carry items up to 50 lb/22.7 kg
  • Operate a motor vehicle in all weather and traffic conditions
Qualifications and Vehicle Requirements
  • Satisfactory safe driving record
  • Valid permanent provincial driver’s license
  • Minimum cargo capacity of 50 cu ft (1415 liters)
  • Automatic transmission, power windows, and vehicle features suitable for bulky items
  • Provide and maintain automobile liability insurance
