Your Career

The Regional Sales Manager is a significant driver of company revenue and growth. As an experienced and dynamic sales professional, you will lead and drive sales engagements, connecting customers with solutions at every stage of threat prevention.

You will meet and exceed quota by crafting and implementing strategic territory plans targeting deployments of the Palo Alto Networks Next Generation Security Platform. This role is a close, go-getter opportunity to win business and expand market share by actively displacing competing technologies.

Palo Alto Networks leads with platformization, offering best-in-breed solutions to build a zero-trust security architecture and support critical transformations. To prepare our sales team, we offer FLIGHT, an immersive onboarding program blending virtual and in-person learning at our headquarters, with dynamic cohorts dedicated to training and focused on customer distractions. This ensures new hires emerge as well-prepared sales professionals ready to help customers leverage our portfolio.

Your Impact
  • Drive and orchestrate complex sales cycles and collaborate with internal partners to best serve the customer
  • Use consultative selling to establish long-standing relationships with prospective customers and executive sponsors
  • Create and implement strategic account plans focused on enterprise-wide deployments
  • Understand the strategic competitive landscape and customer needs to position Palo Alto Networks
  • Engage a programmatic approach to demand generation to grow your territory
  • Leverage customer stories to convey a compelling value proposition
  • Stay informed on industry news and trends and how they affect our products and services
  • Travel as necessary within your territory and to company-wide meetings
Qualifications
  • Experience and knowledge of SaaS-based architectures, ideally in a networking and/or security context
  • Experience cultivating mutually beneficial relationships with channel partners for a channel-centric GTM approach
  • Ability to lead all aspects of the sales cycle, including uncovering, qualifying, developing, and closing new territories and accounts
  • Deep knowledge of the U.S. DoD and/or intelligence community or civilian agencies
  • Track record selling complex solutions
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work with autonomy and self-direction
  • Highly competitive, quick to ramp, adaptable, and focused on exceeding production goals
  • Active security clearance
  • Proficient in English and French
