Could you be the full-time RSC Planning Project Start-up Manager in our RSC Tender and Project Development team we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your extensive project management and planning expertise in a Alstom top priority field. You’ll work alongside dedicated and collaborative teammates.

You'll support critical RSC projects in all aspects of planning, from establishing robust planning baselines to ensuring projects adhere to these baselines during execution. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Finance, Project Management, Sites and Regions), empower the planning team for autonomy and reach the project goals.

You’ll specifically take care of coaching the planning team, promoting a strong planning culture, collecting and sharing REX, and providing training when necessary.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Acting as an expert on Alstom Planning Standards and best practices related to development (DFQ, converged processes, ..) as well as related to project schedule (customer schedule,…)
  • Coaching and promoting a planning culture within project teams
  • Optimizing planning strategies and managing risks
  • Contributing to the capture and sharing of REX
  • Supporting the implementation of configuration and documentation management in accordance with planning strategy
  • Engaging in continuous improvement of planning processes within the organization

All about you

Experience in RS projects is crucial, particularly with a background in planning or management. While this role offers opportunities for growth, the following areas are expected as a foundation:

  • Degree in engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
  • Experience in project management roles such as PrDPM, PrPM, SSM, or similar
  • Knowledge of project scheduling , change and configuration, and documentation processes
  • Good knowledge of internal processes across various departments
  • Agility in managing schedules, simulations, and various project scenarios
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset
  • Proactivity in conflict management and proposing solutions
  • Comfort in an international and multicultural environment
