Do you believe that a perfectly made bed and a sparkling bathroom can make someone’s day? Do you take pride in the little details that others might miss? If so, we’d love you to join our housekeeping team!

At Sofitel London St James, we’re on the lookout for a Room Attendant – someone who knows that true luxury starts with cleanliness, comfort, and care.

Key Responsibilities :

• Clean and maintain guest rooms and suites to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Replace bed linens and towels, make beds, and ensure all amenities are replenished.
• Thoroughly clean and sanitise bathrooms, including fixtures and surfaces.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust guest rooms and common areas.
• Report any maintenance issues or room discrepancies to the appropriate department.
• Provide exceptional service to guests, addressing their needs and requests promptly and courteously.
• Collaborate with the housekeeping team to ensure efficient and timely room turnover.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Room Attendant in a 5-star hotel or luxury hospitality environment is highly preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Capable of performing physically demanding tasks associated with the role.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and chemicals is a plus.
• Eligible to work in the UK.
