Hired is seeking a Hardware Engineer for a Robotics Lab to design, develop, and test robotic hardware systems for advanced automation projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to prototype and refine hardware components for next-generation robotics applications.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical/Mechanical/Robotics or related field, with 3+ years of hardware design experience and hands-on prototyping skills in a fast-paced R&D environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Robotics, or related field.
• Min 3 years of hardware design and development experience for robotic systems.
• Proficient in CAD tools such as SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or equivalent for mechanical design.
• Experience with PCB design, layout, and prototyping using Altium or KiCad.
• Strong knowledge of sensor integration, motor control, and power systems for robotic applications.
• Familiarity with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and real-time operating systems.
• Hands-on experience with rapid prototyping, 3D printing, and hardware debugging tools.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced R&D environment with iterative design cycles.

Responsabilités

• Design and develop robotic hardware systems, including sensors, actuators, and control interfaces.
• Collaborate with software teams to integrate hardware with embedded systems and robotics control algorithms.
• Conduct rigorous testing and validation of hardware prototypes to ensure performance, reliability, and safety.
• Optimize mechanical and electrical designs for manufacturability, cost efficiency, and scalability.
• Document technical specifications, test results, and design iterations for internal and external stakeholders.
