Inbolt in Paris is seeking a Robotics Engineer Intern to join a dynamic team advancing our robotic capabilities. You will develop and extend our universal robot programming language, building production-grade code and prototyping tools that generate robot trajectories.

You will explore robotics techniques, perform literature reviews, and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure performance, accuracy and scalability of our drivers and core products. Fluency in French or English is welcome.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python with knowledge of networking.
• Experience in robot programming (Karel, TP, RAPID, URScript) is a plus.
• Strong code quality and stability mindset.

As a Robotics Engineer Intern at Inbolt, you will join a dynamic team dedicated to advancing our robotic capabilities. This role is pivotal in enhancing the compatibility and performance of our robot drivers, and you’ll contribute directly to our core products.

Responsibilities

• Develop and extend Inbolt’s universal robot programming language with new key functions

• Build a prototype tool (backend + frontend) that generates complete robot trajectory programs, combining our path planning algorithms with Inbolt’s universal language

• Explore state-of-the-art techniques in robotics and compile a literature review to guide the project’s direction

• Design and develop algorithms with robust, production-grade code and innovative technical solutions

• Benchmark and evaluate the algorithms you implement, focusing on performance, accuracy and scalability

Preferred experience

• Currently in your final year (Bac+5) at an engineering school or university Master’s program, looking for a 5-6 month end-of-studies internship.
• Python with networking knowledge.
• Robot programming (Karel, TP, RAPID, URScript) is a plus.
• Capacity to handle a good level of code quality and stability.
• Fluent or at least working-level French and/or English.
