Context: The main objective of this mission is to support the Business Continuity Plan Manager (BCP), within the Risk Management Department, in the operational implementation of the business continuity policy. The consultant contributes to the management of the system, the reliability of deliverables, and the support of business units in order to strengthen the organization's resilience.Business Continuity Plan (BCP) Management and Monitoring Responsibilities • Assist the Business Continuity Plan Coordinator (BCP) in planning, coordinating, and monitoring business continuity activities. • Maintain up-to-date action plans, timelines, monitoring indicators, and dashboards for the plan. • Collect, consolidate, and verify information provided by business units. • Identify discrepancies, areas of concern, and delays, and propose appropriate corrective actions. Business Unit Support • Support business unit representatives in creating and updating Business Impact Assessments (BIAs), continuity plans, recovery procedures, and workarounds. • Ensure the consistency of criticality assumptions, dependencies, Recovery Time Objectives (RTOs), and Recovery Point Objectives (RPOs). • Provide methodological support, answer operational questions, and facilitate the adoption of BCP requirements. • Contribute to the harmonization and quality of deliverables produced by the various business units.Exercises, Tests, and Crisis Management • Participate in the preparation of business continuity and crisis management exercises: scenarios, materials, planning, stakeholder mobilization, and evaluation criteria. • Contribute to monitoring the progress of tests and formalizing reports. • Gather feedback, analyze results, and monitor the implementation of improvement actions.Reporting and Continuous Improvement • Produce regular reports for the Business Continuity Planning and Control (BCPC) team, the Risk Management Department, and governance bodies. • Ensure data reliability, automate consolidations as much as possible, and improve the readability of reports. • Prepare materials for committees, follow-up meetings, workshops, and awareness campaigns. • Contribute to updating business continuity procedures, guides, templates, and frameworks. • Monitor best practices in business continuity and propose improvements to the system.Required Expertise and Skills: Methodological Know-How – Business Continuity Planning (BCP) • Theoretical knowledge and initial practical experience with business continuity methodologies. • Understanding of the structure of a Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and the concepts of contingency plans, workarounds, Recovery Time Objective (RTO), and Recovery Point Objective (RPO). • Ability to support business units in updating and ensuring the reliability of their deliverables.Technical Expertise – Reporting and Data • Strong aptitude for data manipulation, control, and consolidation. • Ability to create clear and actionable operational reports. • Excellent command of office software, particularly advanced Excel (pivot tables and complex formulas) and PowerPoint for presentations and training materials.Facilitation and awareness-raising • Ability to prepare and co-facilitate workshops, crisis management exercises, and awareness-raising activities. • Proficiency in supporting internal stakeholders and managing multiple contributors.Essential Skills • Rigor, organizational skills, and the ability to synthesize information. • Strong interpersonal skills, teaching ability, and a collaborative approach. • Adaptability, proactivity, and autonomy. • Ability to raise concerns, prioritize issues, and propose solutions.We are looking for a junior consultant with ideally 1 to 3 years of experience in business continuity, risk management, or data-driven management.
