A leading global e-commerce company is seeking a Compliance and Risk Analyst to join their team in Clichy. In this role, you'll audit Middle-Mile carrier partners' compliance and foster a culture of accountability. The ideal candidate has strong audit experience, fluency in Italian and Spanish, and exceptional attention to detail. This full-time position involves collaborating with international teams to drive compliance and mitigate risks.

Amazon Transportation Services has built a world-class Middle Mile operation, relying on an exceptional pool of carriers who work relentlessly to meet our customers' expectations. TRC is seeking a Compliance and Risk Analyst to audit Amazon Middle-Mile carrier partners' compliance with contractual and legal requirements and to foster a compliance culture internally and externally.

The ideal candidate will have strong audit experience, preferably in transportation, and will be responsible for conducting thorough carrier audits across different business models, identifying compliance, safety, regulatory, and reputational risks, proposing risk mitigation solutions, and delivering detailed audit reports to carriers and business teams. The candidate should have exceptional attention to detail, a data-driven mindset, excellent soft skills for stakeholder management and building trust with carriers, and demonstrate team spirit and autonomy.

Key job responsibilities

  • Vet Middle-Mile carrier candidates against Amazon policies prior to onboarding.
  • Audit Amazon Middle-Mile carrier partners based on the TRC audit workbook, ensuring compliance with contractual, legal, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide comprehensive audit reports to senior management and business partners, including highlights, lowlights, and recommendations.
  • Deliver clear audit findings and actionable corrective actions to carrier partners, assisting them in achieving compliance.
  • Conduct short-notice compliance audits as needed, maintaining high standards of quality and flexibility.
  • Investigate suspicious carrier activities that could pose risks to Amazon, its customers, or others.
  • Meet individual and team goals with diligence and high standards.
  • Achieve audit productivity and quality standards.
  • Lead or participate in special projects or assignments as required.

A day in the life

Your daily work will vary, involving assessing compliance levels across many carriers in the network, trending key problem areas, and reporting insights to support long-term solutions. The team is based across Europe, working both independently and collaboratively to discuss regional trends and issues.

Qualifications

  • Audit experience, preferably in transport.
  • Fluency in Italian and Spanish.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Project management and continuous process improvement experience.
  • Ability to work with international teams with high team spirit and integrity.
  • Proven analytical and interpretative skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
  • Experience handling confidential data.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
  • Transportation experience (e.g., Transport Manager, Fleet Manager) and knowledge of local transport laws.
  • Experience in compliance and risk management.
  • Professional auditing qualification.
  • Experience with data software (e.g., Tableau, QuickBase).
  • Fluency in at least one additional language such as French, German, Dutch, Lithuanian, or Romanian.
