Job summary

Qualcomm France S.A.R.L. invites a microelectronics/CS intern to join the emulation team at Sophia Antipolis, contributing to a CPU-based platform with a memory interconnect and NoC. You will adapt boot code in C/assembly and integrate the RISC-V CPU into the RTL platform for hardware emulation.

The 6‑month internship involves RTL simulations, toolchain integration, and collaboration with engineers to enable Palladium/Veloce emulation and performance validation.

Qualifications

• 6-month internship duration.
• Master’s degree in Microelectronics, Computer Science, or related field.
• Experience with Verilog (preferably), or VHDL.
• Ability to quickly react and adapt to changes.
• Excellent communication skills in French and English.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with CPU team to import and compile the RISC-V CPU RTL.
• Integrate the RISC-V CPU and interconnect into the emulation testbench.
• Develop or reuse boot code for the RISC-V CPU and integrate the toolchain.
• Run RTL simulations to validate CPU integration and boot code.
• Compile the platform for Palladium or Veloce emulators and assist in debugging.
