Support the hotel's management efforts in strategic planning, digital marketing plans, and budgeting processes.
- Participate in preparing the annual budget for approval and monitor achievements across the rooms division, as well as other revenue streams: rooms, F&B, MICE, Spa, and other ancillary products.
- Monitor booking rates of walk-in guests and groups to determine pricing and availability controls across all reservation distribution channels.
- Evaluate key revenue performance indicators, including digital marketing campaigns.
- Prepare weekly revenue strategy meetings for the hotel.
- Track and analyze competitors' pricing and yield strategies, developing the ability to anticipate market reactions to changes.
- Generate and analyze current and historical demand data, including activity losses, reservations, competition, and market trends, to facilitate more accurate forecasting.
- Monitor third-party information sources to identify revenue opportunities (OTA, GDS, market studies) and stay informed about sector developments and their impact on demand.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to encourage strategic deal selection, effective and attractive offers.
- Work with reservation and front desk teams to ensure high levels of customer service while maximizing profits.
- Revenue culture: Liaise with all teams to ensure understanding and adherence to revenue management principles, providing guided learning so that all hotel sectors impacting revenue are aware of and understand the hotel’s revenue strategies and their roles in the plan.
- Maintain and improve standards, policies, and procedures related to pricing.
- Experience as a Revenue Manager in the hospitality sector or another industry.
- Analytical problem-solving approach, strong business sense, solid numerical reasoning.
- Good problem-solving skills, strategic mindset.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Calm and confident in interactions with luxury clientele.
- Good knowledge of revenue-related systems.
Additional systems include:
- Property Management System and MS Office
- EzRMS or IDeaS revenue management software
- Channel management system, central reservation system, and GDS
Familiarity with the latest digital platforms to maximize revenue.
Fluent in English.
