Lifestyle and Fashion House in Ubud, Bali is seeking a proactive, approachable Retail Store Manager who leads by example—willing to support the team, get hands-on with daily operations, and drive sales. The ideal candidate will be customer-oriented, dedicated to delivering an exceptional guest experience, and will maintain excellent communication while fostering a positive, collaborative environment.

Retail Store Manager Qualifications:

• Proven experience in retail management, preferably in consumer products, with a hands-on and customer-oriented approach

• Diploma / University Degree in Retail, Sales, Business or Similar Education Field

• Strong leadership and team management skills

• Excellent communication, guest service, and relationship-building abilities

• Ability to analyze sales data and leverage insights to improve store performance

• Friendly, approachable, and team-oriented demeanor and high level of integrity, ownership, professionalism and responsibility and accountability in managing store operations

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

• Flexible to work weekends, holidays, or varied shifts as needed

• Willingness to travel for visiting consignment stores as required

• Passion for artisanal products, sustainability, and delivering memorable customer experiences

• Fluent in English, spoken and writing and listening

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and motivate the store team to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer and guest experiences

• Oversee daily store operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and cash handling

• Support and motivate staff through hands-on leadership and by exemplifying a positive attitude

• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the store

• Implement marketing strategies and promotional activities to boost product visibility and sales

• Recruit, train, and develop team members to foster a high-performance, guest-focused environment

• Monitor store performance metrics and generate reports for management review

• Build strong relationships with customers and guests; handle escalated concerns professionally

• Visit consignment stores regularly as part of store expansion and partnership development

• Work closely with merchandisers, the design team, and the founder/owner to ensure brand consistency and product placement

• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and legal regulations

• Support the team with various store duties, including cleaning and setup as needed

• Communicate effectively with team members and management, maintaining strong coordination across departments
