The Sarasota Style is seeking a part-time Retail Sales Associate to greet guests and deliver friendly, high-level service at the St. Armands Circle shop.

You will inform customers about sales, promotions, and events, build relationships through helpful recommendations, and handle POS transactions accurately. The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with weekends and evenings as needed.

Job Summary

The Retail Sales Associate plays a very important role at The Sarasota Style. In this position, it will be essential to greet and engage with all Sarasota Style guests, as you are a very important impression of the business. Below are the fundamental areas that each Retail Sales Associate must perform on a daily basis to ensure positive retail operations.

• Inform customers about sales, promotions, and upcoming events
• Build guest relationships through excellent customer service and honest recommendations
• Effectively process transactions through Gift Shop POS system
• Stock and merchandise sales floor as directed
• Process incoming merchandise as directed
• Assist in maintaining organization and cleanliness in the back stock room and on the sales floor

Physical Demands

• Constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing, and standing for at least two consecutive hours and occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders
• Must be willing to work peak hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be capable of lifting 40 lbs
