Description du poste

Job Description

The role ensures supervision, coordination, and management of all academic activities within a specific disciplinary area of the Department. The aim is to represent educational excellence and guarantee full student satisfaction. The role involves directing Course Leaders and faculty in course planning, didactic organization, and quality monitoring of course delivery. It also involves managing faculty relations and professional networks to generate opportunities for students, and analyzing trends in the education sector to innovate the didactic offerings.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Innovation: Monitor education sector trends, propose strategic guidelines, supervise new project feasibility analyses, and implement innovations in programs and study plans.
  2. Course Planning and Delivery: Oversee course planning, support Course Leaders, monitor budgets, approve purchase and compensation requests, and ensure departmental integration and strategic alignment.
  3. Faculty Leadership and Student Care: Support Course Leaders in defining faculty and course content, manage faculty recruitment and performance, mentor Course Leaders, supervise academic and student support activities, and monitor student satisfaction.
  4. People Management: Manage resources, support professional growth, organize work, approve leave, participate in recruitment, ensure policy compliance, and support change initiatives.
  5. Support to Non-Academic Activities: Participate in promotional events, support enrollment and communication, approve materials, and foster relations with institutions and companies for internships and placements.
  6. Teaching: Deliver core teaching activities including lectures, exams, thesis supervision, consulting, and workshops.
