Responsable Informatique / Chef de projet Informatique, Saint-Nazaire

In France, we operate and maintain aircraft, provide equipment and pilot training support, and execute critical missions for various clients. We maintain a fleet of 30 HelisMUR helicopters (EC135, EC145) across 21 SAMU bases, performing over 11,000 rescue missions annually, making us the leader in France. We also ensure operational readiness of aircraft for the Gendarmerie, French Customs, and Civil Security.

In partnership with Dassault Aviation, under the name F-AIR 21, we provide support for 26 PC-21 aircraft and a simulation platform for training Air Force and Space Force student pilots in Cognac. Additionally, we maintain military transit and deployment equipment for aircraft, such as start-up groups, air conditioning units, bomb carriers, trailers, etc.

As part of our growth, Babcock France is recruiting a Responsable Informatique / Chef de projet Informatique. The role involves managing and coordinating IT activities in France, liaising with the Group IT Department, ensuring system functionality, supervising technological projects, participating in development projects, and safeguarding data security.

You will manage a team of 6 in France. Your main responsibilities include:

1. Collaborating with Global IT to deploy the local roadmap
2. Supervising and training the French support team
3. Managing and maintaining IT systems and networks
4. Coordinating IT projects (Infrastructure, applications, etc.)
5. Providing technical support and resolving IT issues
6. Ensuring data security and regulatory compliance
7. Managing suppliers and resources for local systems support
