Job Description:

We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to conceive, implement, and manage the design of mechanical solutions following Mondragon Assembly processes to meet project objectives. Key responsibilities include:

• Ensuring achievement of project objectives related to mechanical design.
• Collaborating with the Project Manager to define specifications and principles for the mechanical part.
• Monitoring the mechanical studies schedule in alignment with the overall project timeline.
• Defining fundamental characteristics to ensure uniformity across machine stations.
• Coordinating and supervising the design team, providing support and expertise.
• Monitoring deadlines, costs, and mechanical design objectives, proposing corrective actions as needed.
• Performing overall and detailed designs using SolidWorks.
• Ensuring coherence between mechanical and electrical designs.
• Providing technical support during assembly and at customer sites.
• Promoting teamwork within the Mechanical Design Team.
• Leading validation of mechanical studies with customers.
• Contributing to the machine manual and supporting sales as a technical expert.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 4-6 years of experience as a mechanical designer.
• Higher education in mechanical engineering or a related degree.
• Proficiency in French and English.
• A desire to develop in a demanding, customer-focused, results-oriented environment.
