Job Description:

The choice of passive fire protection systems is of paramount importance to ensure the safety of buildings and their occupants. Increasingly more complex safety challenges require a better understanding of the nuances and specificities of these technologies to develop best-in-class solutions.

Within this context, you will coordinate the development of innovative solutions for passive fire protection for the Gypsum and Insulation activities of the Saint-Gobain group. Your main missions will be as follows:

• Functionally supervise the engineers and technicians contributing to innovation projects on passive fire protection at Saint-Gobain Research Paris (approximately 10 people).
• Coordinate the R&D projects entrusted to you in an agile, efficient, and rigorous manner, and be accountable for their quality and their completion according to the schedule agreed upon.
• Support the development of skills of engineers and technicians working on passive fire protection at Saint-Gobain Research Paris.
• Maintain close interactions with the R&D, industrial, industrial property, certification, and marketing teams of the Gypsum and Insulation activities, as well as with the other R&D centers of the Saint-Gobain group.

You will report hierarchically to the R&D group leader of the Heat Transfer in Products and Systems group in Saint-Gobain Research Paris and functionally to the R&D passive fire protection portfolio manager within the Technology and Industrial Performance Department of the Saint-Gobain group.
