La maison GUERLAIN is recruiting for its cosmetics production site located in Chartres (28) a RESPONSABLE DE FABRICATION EMULSIONS in a CDI.

Job Responsibilities

PERIMETRE:

The position is to be filled within the Care Production Unit, which presents many challenges in growth and innovation! Our future Emulsions Manufacturing Manager will report to the unit production manager for care products. They will be responsible for the Emulsions Manufacturing workshop, which produces a wide range of bulk products (Lotion, cream, milk, shower gel, foundation, mascara, etc.) and is equipped with about a dozen state-of-the-art industrial equipment.

MISSIONS:

As the Emulsions Manufacturing Manager, your missions include:

• Leading the production workshop by managing a team of 30 people (manufacturing teams and maintenance technicians) and defining recruitment and training plans for the team.
• Developing the workshop to meet safety, quality, deadline, cost, and motivation objectives amidst strong growth and saturation.
• Ensuring activities comply with quality standards (GMP, cGMP, CSAR, etc.) in collaboration with the quality assurance department.
• Guaranteeing the conformity of produced bulk and maintaining a high BPC rate while minimizing non-quality costs.
• Aligning workload and capacity (labor and machinery) and taking necessary actions to achieve service and agility objectives.
• Monitoring performance and implementing productivity and quality improvements in your workshop.
• Participating in the industrialization of new processes in collaboration with the industrialization team and responding to innovation challenges.
• Defining and managing your workshop's budget.
• Overseeing investment projects and contributing to the CAPEX plan.
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives, proposing ideas, and leading projects within the House.

Profile

A solid experience of at least 5 years in managing production and technical teams, preferably in the cosmetic, pharmaceutical, or consumer goods industries, is required. You have a background as a generalist engineer, process engineer, or equivalent. You demonstrate leadership, the ability to inspire and mobilize your teams and peers towards common goals. You are rigorous, methodical, and possess excellent communication skills.
