Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Electrical Test Bench Manager (F/M) to join our Flight & Integration Test Centre based in Toulouse, France.


The Flight & Integration Test Centre is a transnational Center of Competence with teams in Toulouse, Hamburg, Filton, Bremen and Bangalore working closely together with the other Engineering Centers and with Systems Suppliers worldwide. Lead the evolutions/modifications of the bench configurations on assigned test means with the support of Testers, Logistics/Suppliers, Building, Test Means (e.g. 1VMIA, 1VMSL)

Provide the technical/safety documents in relation with Maintenance & Operations activities on assigned Test means.

Guarantee for each Test means the configuration (HW, SW etc...) and provide clear communication about Test means limitations.

Organize technical meetings periodically taking into account the Testers' priority and the maintenance tasks.

Sum up the workload for each Test mean and provide a planning for these Test means on a weekly basis.

Ensure & Manages the Maintenance activities and ensure a high level of operational availability on assigned Test means

Collect the needs for Renewal plans on assigned Test means.

Understand Tester's needs regarding technical/ergonomics/environment concerns and suggest appropriate solutions.

Challenge the modifications/evolutions to optimize costs and technical solutions.

Being proactive regarding safety rules: improve and promote them (EPI etc...)

Being able to find the right balance between 1) safety requirements and 2) their realistic and efficient application to existing test means and activities

You have knowledge in electrical engineering

You are a self starter and proactively look for solutions

You are able to well communicate and collaborate

You show availability (on-site) and reactivity

You are curious and willing to learn

You are interested in continuously improving the ways of working

A background in testing (not necessarily ATA24) would be a plus

A good level of English would be a plus
