A leading non-profit organization is seeking a Respite Support Worker to provide flexible support to families of children with disabilities. The role requires QQI Level 5 qualification and experience in a residential setting. Applicants should be prepared for evening and weekend duties. We are currently seeking a highly-motivated Respite Support Worker to join our team in Teach Saoirse, Children’s Residential Respite House, Nenagh, Co Tipperary.
Contract Type: Full Time, Part Time and Variable Hours Contracts available
Contract Hours: Full Time, Part Time and Variable Hours available
Salary Scale: €32,639 - €39,499 pro rata per annum. Salary scales are subject to Long Service Increments (LSI).
Pay Scale Note: This pay scale is subject to increases in 2025 in accordance with the recent WRC agreement towards enhanced pay adjustments in Section 39 organisations.
Annual Leave Entitlement: 30 days pro rata per annum
To provide respite to families of children with disabilities. The respite support service will be coordinated by PIC, who will prioritise families to be involved in the service and agree with each family the type and level of support to be provided. The Respite Support Worker will be supervised by and work closely with the PIC. In order to provide a flexible respite support service, the Respite Support Worker will be required to do sleepovers and work during evenings and weekends.
