Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a Resource Manager to lead staffing for the Paris office, aligning capacity with current and future project needs. You will partner with Senior Management, Talent Acquisition, HR, Finance and Operations to optimise utilisation and drive business outcomes.

The role requires strong relationship building, communication, and proficiency with data and planning tools. Fluency in French and English is essential for cross-border collaboration and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Degree educated with several years of work experience in a professional services or corporate environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; AI awareness and resource planning tools a plus.

Responsibilities

• Go-to person for staffing matters for most business units in the Paris office.
• Assess and plan future resource requirements, driving utilisation based on project pipeline.
• Build relationships with internal stakeholders in France including Senior Management, Talent Acquisition, HR, Finance and Operations.
• Advise on conflicts and issues, prioritising based on commercial needs and key skills.
• Monitor performance goals and development needs to influence staffing decisions.
• Use staffing tools and reporting (Profinda, Claude, PowerBI) to measure utilisation and guide staffing decisions.
• Collaborate with the wider Resource Management team in EMEA and globally as needed.
