Mövenpick Resort Phan Thiet is located in a prime location on Hon Gio street, Phan Thiet city, Binh Thuan province. The resort is near the romantic beach, with a long stretch of fine white sand and emerald green sea water, offering visitors beautiful natural scenery and a fresh, cool atmosphere.
Job Responsibilities:
- Understand hotel policies and procedures (P&P) and Accor policies (P&P).
- Maintain cleanliness at the workstation (office, desk, computer, telephone, stationery).
- Handle reservations via telephone, fax, or internet, and enter data into PMS accurately and promptly.
- Maximize hotel revenue through up-selling rooms, types, and services.
- Explain hotel services and facilities positively to guests.
- Be aware of other Accor hotels in Vietnam and assist guests with information about sister properties, including referring leads to relevant team members.
- Stay updated on reservation systems, rates, packages, and special offers.
- Follow up on guest requests, ensuring responses within 24 hours.
- Accurately input reservation data, minimizing errors.
- Get ETA of VIPs and GIT bookings, informing relevant departments.
- Provide courteous greetings and farewells according to the 'Resavision' program.
- Follow the 'Resavision' program for all reservation modifications or cancellations.
- Optimize occupancy and average room rate based on strategies from Revenue Management or Rev Max team.
- Ensure reservation data accuracy and consistency with Opera system data.
- Assist reception with check-in procedures.
- Follow up on deposits or payments, updating PMS and reports.
- Prepare and follow up on arrival information, including handling non-guaranteed and guaranteed reservations.
- Reduce no-shows through reconfirmations and duplicate reservation checks.
- Manage GIT bookings, tentative bookings, and waiting lists.
- Report booking changes affecting occupancy or revenue forecasts to the Reservation Manager.
- Control hotel availability and allotments, reporting status changes for decision-making.
- Input new corporate/travel agency data into the master list and update rates.
- File all contracted room rates alphabetically by company name.
- Update DPF daily and inform TAs about the close of free-sale periods.
- Handle waiting list procedures and overbooking situations with the Reservation Manager.
- Ensure allotments are processed according to standards and approved by the Reservation Manager.
- Assist hotel management with room-related reports.
Qualifications:
- Vocational Certificate in Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- At least 1 year of related experience or 6 months in reservations/front office, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and OPERA systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills with customers, employees, and third parties.
- Good problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Proficient in computer use.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English and Vietnamese.
