Meta's Fundamental AI Research (FAIR) in Paris is seeking a Research Scientist to advance generative models, with a focus on data efficiency and continual learning in large language models. You will work across research, engineering, and deployment for product and frontier model efforts, mentor teammates, and contribute to publications and open-source projects.

Applicants should hold a PhD in a quantitative field, have first-author AI conference publications, and be able to obtain French work

Qualifications

• PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a similar quantitative discipline.
• First-author publications at peer-reviewed AI conferences (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR).
• Demonstrated experience with training, fine-tuning, and experimentation on foundation models beyond black-box usage.
• Familiarity with PyTorch.
