Meta's Fundamental AI Research (FAIR) is seeking a Research Scientist to advance generative models. You will work across research, engineering, and deployment for product and frontier model efforts, focused on data efficiency and continual learning in large language models.

Qualifications

• PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a similar quantitative discipline.
• First-author publications at NeurIPS, ICML, or ICLR.
• Experience training, fine-tuning, and experimenting with foundation models beyond black-box usage.
• Familiarity with PyTorch.
• Able to obtain and maintain work authorization in France.
• Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to peers.

Requirements

• A PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a similar quantitative discipline
• Hold first-author publications at peer-reviewed AI conferences (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR)
• Demonstrated experience with training, fine‑tuning, and experimentation on foundation models beyond black-box usage
