Mission

We are recruiting a research engineer to work at the Institut Curie Research Center in the U932 Cancer and Immunity unit, part of the Tumour Biology department, focusing on research on neoantigens:

  • Applying various biochemistry techniques, from extracting proteins and complexes from tissues, cell lines, tumors, and biopsies for mass spectrometry analysis
  • Analyzing the immunopeptidome of cells and tissues
  • Performing proteomic analysis using high-sensitivity LC-MS/MS (Astral/Thermo)
  • Data analysis using various software tools
  • Cell culture (L2, human cells, and cell lines)
  • Gaining expertise in operating mass spectrometers and complex analytical tools

Profile

Education and skills

  • Bac+5 or higher degree in Biology with experience in biochemistry
  • Strong knowledge of protein biochemistry
  • Protein extraction, immuno-isolation, and precipitation techniques
  • Proficiency with standard software
  • Comfort with standard tissue culture techniques

Qualifications

  • Curiosity to learn new techniques and develop protocols in proteomics
  • Team-oriented, disciplined, and autonomous
  • Excellent command of scientific English (writing and speaking)
  • Experience with software for data analysis (gene and protein databases, mass spectrometry results)
